14K Victorian mourning locket and chain. The face of the mourning locket is decorated with a elongated gold star set with a large pearl at the center of the star and 6 seed pearls at the top of each point. The back of the locket is missing its glass from the frame. An attached cable chain is adorned with gold beads, and 4 geometricized polished onyx stones.The chain is attached to the locket bail with a jump ring and spring ring clasp. Unmarked. The locket measures 1 3/4" long, 1 3/8" wide, the chain is 16" in length. Approx. 32 grams.
