Monro, Harold (editor), The Chapbook: A Monthly Miscellany, collection of 18 issues, including 1-13, 16-19 and 39, the first 17 issues are softcovers in stringbound or stapled wraps, issue 39 is in boards, includes portfolios for the softcover issues, published by The Poetry Bookshop, London, 1919-1924, softcover issues 9 x 6.75 inches. One of the great little magazines of the 1920s. Includes poetry by TS Eliot, Aldous Huxley, Edith Sitwell, Herbert Read, Siegfried Sassoon and DH Lawrence as well as essays, criticism and prose. ALSO WITH duplicate copies of issues 2, 4, 8 and 10.

Condition

In fair to good condition, wraps chipped along the edges, some light creasing and soil; most covers still secure but the wraps one Issue 1 are detached; portfolios with heavy wear.
