Chatelain, engraved by Henri Abraham, after DeBry and White, Description de la Peche Habillemens, Habitations, Manieres de vivre, superstitions et autres usages des Indiens de la Virginie [Description of the Fishing Clothing, Dwellings, Ways of Living, Superstitions and Other Customs of the Indians of Virginia], printed between 1719 and 1730, double page engraving with hand-coloring, with 14 vignettes showing the customs, clothing and ways of life of the indigenous people of Virginia, plate size 14.5 x 17 inches, matted and framed 23 x 25.5 inches.
Soft vertical fold, as issued, otherwise in good condition with bold coloring; only a couple of very small areas of faint foxing.
