18th or 19th Century Portrait School, Half Length Portrait of a Young Man or Cleric with Hand on a Book, oil on canvas, relined, apparently unsigned, 30 x 25 inches, framed measuring 36 x 30.5 inches.
Condition
Relined, and with several old patches, old repairs, and other distortions to the surface; crazing heaviest on the face; small losses at lower corners; old in painting above the hand.
