19th century watercolor on paper depicting a gentleman in profile, American or British School, apparently unsigned. In a highly figured wooden period frame with a scrolling gilt liner, 17 x 14.25 inches.
In good condition, other than a rip in the paper at center, and at upper left center. Frame with accretion and chipped area at lower right edge. Unexamined outside of the frame.
