2 Derek Marshall (Contemporary) handled vessels, late 20th/early 21st century. One lidded and footed vase with three gilt handles, shaped form, 11 x 9.5 inches; tsubo with handles, 11.5 x 12 inches. Signed at undersides. Marshall was educated in England, Columbia University, and attended graduate school at the City University of Fine Art in Kyoto, Japan (Kyoto Geijitsu Daigaku). He was a consultant for the National Endowment for the Arts, a member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen since 1971 and has  won many awards for work in ceramics and lighting, among which was a dinner service for use in the White House.  Provenance: The Diana Jannetta Collection. Jannetta was an esteemed collector of decorative and fine arts, known for her discerning eye and dedication to preserving artistic excellence. A lifelong advocate for the arts, she assembled a distinguished collection featuring paintings, sculptures, and craft.
