Eckstein, Sheila (American/Ohio, b. 1934), 2 late 20th/early 21st century watercolors. Including: Untitled Abstract, watercolor on paper, signed at lower right, sight 13.5 x 19 inches, matted and in a 21 x 26.5 inch gilt frame; Impressionistic Wooded Scene, watercolor on handmade silk paper, signed at lower right, sight 11 x 17, matted and in 17.25 x 23.5 inch gilt frame. Both behind glass. Sheila Eckstein was born in Massachusetts and holds an A.B. from Wellesley College in History of Art and an M.A. in Fine Arts from Radcliffe College (Harvard). After moving to Ohio in 1958, painting became her principal activity, and she exhibited extensively in invitational, juried, and solo shows. Condition
Both in seemingly good condition unexamined outside of the frame. Some paper buckling. Glass broken on wooded scene.
