Bukowski, Charles and Robert Anton Wilson, Jack Hirschman, Lew Welch, Stuart Perkoff, Harvey Milk et al., edited by John Bryan, lot of 3 issues of the Bay Area underground newspaper The San Francisco Phoenix, 1974, and two of them include the Open City supplement, newsprint, folded as issued, includes: Issue 46, 49 and 50 of The Phoenix printed in June and August, 1974 plus2 issues of the accompanying Open City section that mostly has ads for massage parlors. Each of the 3 issues is notable for their inclusion of an article from the Notes of a Dirty Old Man series by Charles Bukowski. In addition, there are book reviews and articles by Robert Anton Wilson, music reviews, lots of great ads, poetry, comics/comix and stories about Ken Kesey, Prostitution unions and other facets of the post-hippie boom in the Bay Area.

Condition

In good condition, paper lightly browned and age-toned and with short tears along the edges, but nothing too major.
