An incomplete run of 38 Carnegie International Exhibition Catalogs from 1897 to 1950. Mostly hardcovers. The early years were a smaller format. Black and white illustrations. Also includes a beat up, disbound and partially incomplete copy of the First exhibition from 1896, missing the covers and a few pages at the front and back. The International was held at the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh, now known as the Carnegie Museum of Art. Provenance: The personal collection of Gary S. Grimes, Pittsburgh. Gary was an expert on Western Pennsylvania art, and especially the Scalp Level painters.

Condition
