Lot of 4 autographed photos by famous actors from the first half of the 20th century: Helen Hayes 1939, Maurice Evans as Hamlet, Walter Huston, and Edith Wynne Matthison 1939, each photo signed and inscribed, all but the Evans with stiff carboard backing. Hayes and Huston are both Academy Award winners with Hayes having the additional distinction of being an EGOT. Evans was well known for his Shakespearian roles. Matthison was a stage actress who also appeared in two silent films. All 9 x 7.5 inches. Provenance: From the collection of the Twentieth Century Club in Pittsburgh, PA.
