6 stools originally designed for the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh by Francis J. Nowalk. The stools were commissioned by the museum and this group were extras that the museum could not use. Four-legged steel frames with brown leather seats. Apparently unmarked. Each stool is 33 inches tall. Provenance: Francis J. Nowalk Studio. While earning his way through Duquesne University in 1948, Francis J. Nowalk opened a small lighting business to capitalize on an early interest in lighting design.
