Olgin, et al (editors), 7 issues of Der Hammer: April, May, June, July and August 1933, and July and December 1934, softcovers, staplebound wraps, each issue with a cover design by William Gropper, including a few of his most famous images (e.g., April 1933 with the worker punching Hitler!!), Yiddish text, the monthly magazine of the New York Communist daily, Di Morgen Freiheit. Keywords: Jewish, Judaica, Holocaust.
In fair to good condition, 4 issues with an inked mark (15/90) to the front cover; wraps of June 1933 and December 1934 are detached, but present; the others are still securely attached, but fragile; moderate toning and edgewear overall.
