Set of Eight French majolica artichoke and asparagus plates with integral sauce reservoir and ringed foot, marked on bottom "Depose / K et G / Luneville" for Keller and Guerin, Luneville. Diameter 9 inches. WITH an Asparagus majolica plate and an majolica Oyster Plate. Provenance: The Estate of Edith (Toto) Fisher, Pittsburgh, PA. Toto Fisher was an active supporter of the arts in Pittsburgh, and served on the boards of many of the city's most important institutions, including The Carnegie Museum of Art.
