Milich, Abraham Adolphe (Polish/French, 1884-1964), French Landscape, undated, c.1950, oil on canvas, since relined, signed lower left, 25 x 32 inches, framed 31.5 x 38 inches. Mendelson Gallery was the first gallery in America to show Milich's work. Milich was a Jewish artist and part of the School of Paris group. He specialized in landscapes in and around the Mediterranean, including Israel and the south of France.
Relined; otherwise in good condition, with two tiny paint flecks in the center and slightly larger one in the center left; 3 vertical bands of crazing, since stabilized.
