This foundational piece has been claimed to be the launching on Anuszkiewicz's fame as one of the founding fathers of American Op-Art. We're not sure what Anuszkiewicz's relationship to the production of this item is. Anuszkiewicz had to have approved the production of the piece and received royalties for the sales.
