Herter, Albert (American, 1871-1950), The Roman Baths, c.1895, oil on canvas, 61 x 102 inches, signed Albert Herter lower right, with the original gilded and high relief exhibition frame measuring 80 x 121.5 inches. This painting formerly hung in the entry lobby of The Pittsburgh Athletic Club, a US National Register of Historic Places Building in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.
Recently cleaned, and with a pencil point sized perforation recently repaired; otherwise In good condition. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
