Matted and in silvered wood frame 23.5 x 35.5 inches. Albert Kahn was an industrial architect and planner known for his designs of American automobile factories. He was considered the world’s foremost industrial architect and the father of modern factory design. Kahn was the principal architect for most of the large American automobile companies for 30 years. His firm designed more than a thousand projects for Ford, among them the fabrication and assembly plant in River Rouge, Mich., one of the largest industrial complexes in the world.
