Alfieri (Italian?) after Jean-Baptiste Corot (French, 1796-1875), Copy of Souvenir de Mortefontaine, 19th century, oil on canvas, inscribed lower right "Alfieri d'apres Corot," 13 x 18.75 inches, in an ornate wood and plaster frame 18.75 x 24.5 inches; the original was painted in 1864 and now hangs in the Louvre. Provenance: From the collection of the Twentieth Century Club, Pittsburgh, PA.
