Momaday, Alfred (Haun Toa) (American/Kiowa Indian, 1913-1981), Kiowa Elder, undated (c.1980), gouache on paper, signed lower right, 15 x 22.5 inches, matted and framed 27.5 x 36 inches. A strikingly beautiful piece by Momaday, "one of the most accomplished Native American artists; famous for his work and his teaching particularly at the Jemez Pueblo where his program of arts and crafts brought international recognition."
