(Amelia Earhart interest), The Ogontz School for Young Ladies, Founded in Eighteen Hundred and Fifty, Abby Sutherland, Principal, Rydal, Pennsylvania, c.1917 or 1918, softcover, original stringbound wraps, 18 tinted photos of the school and its students, printed on rectos only, front cover title Views of Ogontz School, photos show campus buildings, as well as the students (all female) playing hockey, golf, ice skating, in military formation, swimming and in the science and domestic labs. Amelia Earhart attended Ogontz in 1918, one year after its move to the Rydal campus, making it possible that she's pictured somewhere in this book. The Ogontz School was an exclusive all girls finishing school in Montgomery County, PA.
