Wiles, Annabelle (American/Western PA, 20th century), Untitled Abstract, c.1950s, oil on canvas, signed on the canvas overlap, 48 x 36 inches, in a wood frame 50 x 37 inches. Wiles was from New Kensington, PA, just north of Pittsburgh. Provenance: The personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski. Ed was co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg. He was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design. In fair condition, with a layer of surface dust and light crazing throughout; patched repair to the upper left corner, and a small puncture near the lower center.
