Antique 10K gold shell cameo brooch. The large shell cameo is exquisitely carved with the profile of a Grecian female. She is draped in a diaphanous robe with leafy vines and flowers draped in her hair. A decorated sash drapes her shoulder. The cameo is encased in 10K yellow gold finished with a delicate filigree with attached floral cutwork. The brooch measures 2 1/2" long, 2" wide, with a pin back. Marked 10K.
