19th Century French Louis 14th Style Sun God gilded and carved mirror frame with antique looking glass, possibly not original, extensive scrolling vines, feathers, and wings and egg and dart relief moulding, measuring 66 x 34.5 inches, Purchased in the early 20th Century by the Family's predecessor on European Shopping trip, Provenance: Katherine Reed Frazer, Pittsburgh, Pa.; by descent to her daughter Barbara Frazer Lowe; The Estate of Barbara Frazer Lowe, Sewickley Pa.
In good condition with small areas of gilding loss and some tracery missing along the sides, face of Sun God possibly re-gilded.
