Wager (Unknown, 19th or 20th century), Cupid and Children, c.late 19th or early 20th century, oil on canvas, signed Wager lower right, 40 x 21.5 inches, framed 45.5 x 27 inches. Possibly by the illustration artist Curtis Wager-Smith who was active in Pennsylvania and illustrated a number of children's books. Provenance: The personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski. Ed was co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg. He was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
