Hand painted slate dining table with mahogany base. Antique tri-form mahogany pedestal with later added circular slate top. The slate top is hand painted with a detailed floral border and a center scene of a castle on a cliff above the sea with sailboats. 29 x 48 inches. Provenance: Table top commissioned by Louis Talotta for a prominent Pittsburgh family.
Condition
In overall good condition. Base with age and usage related wear, one area near the lower edge with a missing piece of veneer. Table top with repairs along underside edge, one scrape on the table top.
