Frasconi, Antonio, Original mock up design for a flyer/postcard advertising the exhibition Antonio Frasconi: Recent Works at the Farmington Valley Arts Center Gallery, Avon, CT, May-June 1976, text and illustrations mounted to card, some writing on the verso, card measures 8.25 x 5.5 inches and shows images from Frasconi's Alhambra and Migrations series. Also includes a handwritten, signed postcard from Frasconi to a Mary who worked at the Farmington Valley Arts Center, the card is postmarked November 8, 1975, Stamford, CT, and reads: Dear Mary N, Thanks very much for your invitation. I will be very pleased to accept your invitation, but could you put the date further ahead. May or June? Let me know. Regards, Antonio Frasconi. The front of the postcard shows one of Frasconi's own designs, Babylon - from the On The Slain Collegians suite. A unique, one of a kind piece of art ephemera.

Condition
