[Americana, Militaria], Archive Relating to the Freedom Train, an exhibit on wheels that toured all 48 states showing original copies of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and other important American documents. Includes: Frank Monaghan, Heritage of Freedom, 1948 hardcover book signed on the fly leaf by over 40 soldiers who accompanied the trains; 12 glossy black and white photos showing stops on the tour, some annotated on the back with people and place names; mimeographed itinerary for November 25-January 1; and a contemporary newspaper article previewing a stop of the train in the Pittsburgh area; ALSO INCLUDES two pieces of ephemera related to the US Navy tour of an LST-512 battle ship - 1945 color poster and travel schedule.

Condition

Book is good in a fair dust jacket with tears and rips; otherwise everything in average or above average condition with no extreme issues.
