(Pittsburgh), The Art Work of Pittsburg, 1899, hardcover, large 4to. (13.75 x 11 inches), later 3/4 leather over boards, 14 page introductory text plus 78 photographic plates showing the landmarks of Pittsburgh, each with tissue-cover. Primarily covers Oakland, Shadyside, Highland Park, the North Side and Sewickley. Provenance: Harry O. Eichleay, with his bookplates on front pastedown, fly leaf and front blank; William Walker II, Sewickley, PA, acquired 1968 from Daub's in downtown. A very rare collection that doesn't come up for sale very often.

Condition

Photos in good or better condition, clean and unmarked; pages still bound together, but both boards are detached and the spine leather is complete missing Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
