Dughet, attributed to Gaspard (French/Italian, 1615-1675), Italian Villa Mountainscape, 17th century, pen, brush and wash on paper, inscribed by a later hand in brown ink to lower right Pavillon des Carmes, and another illegible word in brown ink toward the bottom center written perpendicularly, sheet 7 x 12.25 inches, floated in a frame 15.5 x 20.5 inches. Apparently relates to a drawing by Dughet's teacher and brother-in-law, Poussin, of the Aventine Hill in Rome. Provenance: Rifkin-Young Fine Arts, Riverdale, NY.

Light foxing throughout, otherwise in seemingly good condition, unexamined outside of the frame. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense. A list of recommended shippers is on our website: .
