Shipe, attributed to Marjorie F. (American/Western PA/Pittsburgh, 1926-2018), Abstract, mid to late 20th century, polymer resin sculpture, apparently unsigned. Shipe was a lifetime member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, was on the Board of Directors, President of the Board, and was nominated and selected as an Emeritus Board member. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hill College, Greensburg, where she was an Assistant Professor in the Art Department from 1965-1968. She later obtained a Master's Degree of Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She exhibited often in solo and group exhibitions. Some surface abrasions and chips to base.
