Sanders, Benita (Canadian/Pacific NW, contemporary), Stone Shape III, 1964, intaglio etching on wove paper, signed, dated, titled and marked artist proof in pencil along the bottom, image 15.5 x 13.5 inches, 18.5 x 15 inches, unframed. Sanders has lived on Haida Gwaii (formerly called the Queen Charlotte Islands) since the 1960s. Her print work is included in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Canada, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
