Bronze Birdbath or Basin copied from excavated artifacts discovered in the 18th Century from Pompeii, cast by Sabatino De Angelis in Naples in 1896 for Andrew Carnegie, Carnegie had extensive castings from Pompeii made for his new museum in Pittsburgh, 29 inches tall and 33.75 inches in diameter, The marble base is a modern copy not from Naples
