Enamel cup commemorating the Budapest Millennium Exhibition of 1896, Diameter 3.5 inches and 4 inches tall. This was a state exhibition held on the occasion of the millennium celebrations of the Magyar conquest. The place of the exhibition was the Budapest City Park (Városliget). The Vajdahunyad Castle was also built there for the occasion of the exhibition, which comprised the central historical part of the exhibition and displayed around 20,000 art objects, mostly belonging to the nobility. The exhibition grounds were accessed via the Budapest Metro.
