Lord Byron. Childe Harold's Pilgrimage. Paris, no publisher. 1827. 12mo. (3x4.25 inches). Full leather, metal clasp, gilt title. Notable for the armorial bookplate and inked initials of 19th-century British rugby forward Richard Dutton Budworth; also with the signature of his father, Philip John Budworth, on a front blank. Richard Budworth was an original member of the Barbarians Football Club. An early, French pirated edition.
