Frasconi, Antonio, text by Italo Calvino, Prima che tu dica Pronto, 1985, number 35 of 75 copies signed by Calvino and Frasconi who provided 4 color woodcuts, Plain Wrapper Press, hardcover, slim 4to., leather-backed boards, in clamshell slipcase, text in Italian and English. A stunning fine press production and a rare find, published just months before Calvino died. Provenance: deaccessioned from a regional institution.
Two small library stamps, including one Withdrawn stamp, to the rear fly leaf; otherwise Near Fine; contents bright, clean and unmarked; minor handling to the slipcase.
