Walberg, Carl A. (American/Western PA, 1889-1955), Country Woman Tending a Pot on a Fire, 1923 (date taken from a former owner's note on reverse), signed bottom left, oil on canvas, woman stirring a heated pot in the woods with a small cabin in the background, 24.25 x 35.25 inches, in a painted wooden frame measuring 32.5 x 43 inches. Walberg, a Western PA native, exhibited at Associated Artists of Pittsburgh Annual events from the 1920s-40s.
