Embroidered velvet wedding dress, Bukhara, Uzbekistan. Rich red velvet body and skirt with black velvet sleeves. Both the bodice and skirt are heavily embroidered in metallic gold. The sleeves end with highly embroidered cotton in metallic silver. Length is 44.5 inches. 41 inches wide at edge of skirt.
Upper right shoulder seam is separating. Missing embroidery at front upper skirt. Compression marks to velvet in some areas. Wear and light staining. Loose threads near neck. Repairs throughout.
