Burchfield, Charles Ephraim (American, 1893-1967), Snowy Owl in Early Winter, 1959, conte crayon and watercolor, 11 x 17 inches, signed with monogram lower left, in a hand decorated wood frame 19.25 x 26 inches. Provenance: William A. Farnsworth Library and Art Museum, on long term loan from the Boston Company, with label affixed to the back of the frame.
