Harris, Charles (Teenie) (American/Pittsburgh, 1908-1998), Group Portrait of Men and Women in Shriner Fezzes, c. late 1950s, gelatin silver print, image size 7.5 x 9.5 inches, sheet size 8 x 10 inches, unframed, with Harris Studio stamp at reverse and blind stamp at lower left corner. Like nearly all of Harris' photos, this is an important and moving document of Pittsburgh’s African American community in the middle of the 20th century.
In fair to good condition, with from four large crease marks coming up from lower edge of image and small accretions near lower margin; sheet slightly curled.
