Harris' studio was at this address from 1938-1953.. This image is recorded as Accession No. 2001.35.9745 in the Carnegie Museum of Art's Charles (Teenie) Harris Archive. Like nearly all of Harris' photos, this is an important and moving document of Pittsburgh’s African American community in the middle of the 20th century.
