Wool jacquard coverlet woven by Charles Young of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, PA, 1843, weaver's name, location, date and name of the client, Mary Eshleman (1823-1887) in corner block, 92 x 84 inches, Young is listed in "American Coverlets and Their Weavers" by Anderson, et al, Provenance: from the collection of the Eshleman Women, Camp Hill, PA. circa 1876.
