Rosenberg, Charlotte (American, Western Pa. 1911-1999), Untitled Abstract Landscape, 1970, oil on canvas, 48 x 38 inches, signed and dated lower left, framed with strip frames 49.5 x 39.5 inches, acquired from the artist. She was an active member of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, serving as its president in 1960, and was a member of the Abstract Group of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Sherman won numerous prizes in art shows and exhibited at the Butler Art Institute in Youngstown, Ohio, the Cincinnati Museum, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, the Hunter Gallery in Chattanooga, Tenn., and the Arts and Crafts Center -- now called the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.
