19th or Early 20th Century Chinese Carved Agate Brush Wash or Water Coup with multiple carved figures on rim, including birds, flowering vines, and snails, on a fitted and carved wood stand, 4.4 inches tall x 6.75 inches wide x 5.75 inches deep, Provenance: Mrs W.C Bitting of Asheville NC; by descent to her niece Barbara Frazer Lowe; The Estate of Barbara Frazer Lowe, Sewickley Pa. The remainder of The Bitting's Asian Collection was gifted to the Asheville Museum of Art in 1972
