Lamour, Philippe and Jeanne Walter (editor), Plans: Revue Mensuelle, complete run in 13 issues, January 1931-March 1932, softcover, original wraps and first 7 issues in original glassine jackets, French text, black and white illustrations, Paris. A complete set of all issues published under this title. Plans was a short lived monthly journal, but it had a large impact on the social, political, architectural and artistic aspects of the Modern movement in the early 1930s. The editorial group included Le Corbusier, among a strong list of other contributors such as Moi Ver, Fernand Leger, Walter Gropius, Rene Clair, Ilya Ehrenburg, Arthur Honegger, Francois de Pierrefeau, Heinrich Mann, Thomas Mann and others. Issues 8-12 are from the deluxe edition of 25 numbered copies which were printed on a brighter and heavier paper. Very rare on the marketplace, with only a few odd volumes currently for sale online.
Condition
In good condition, a few with light edgewear including chipping to the spine ends, wraps and contents lightly browned, but much less so in the 5 issues from the deluxe edition.
