Curtis Jere Artisan House (American, 20th century), Birds in Flight, 1976, metal sculpture resting on a chromed or polished steel pyramid. 71.5 x 23 x 23 inches all together. The top removes from the base. The top portion is approximately 53 x 23 x 23 inches when removed. The base is 19.5 x 18 x 18 inches by itself. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
