Blythe, David Gilmour (American, 1815-1865), Portrait of a Pensive Woman, oil on canvas, Dimension: 27 x 22 inches (oval), Signature: signed Blythe lower right, Frame Type: built up acorn and vine relief gold gesso cove frame of the period, measuring 36 x 28 inches.
In generally good condition apart from old stretcher bar marks and crazing, a small hole at the top center near the frame edge, a few small scuffs on the arm of the sitter.
