Nesteruk, Don (American/Western PA, 1932-1976), Bull Creek Road, Allegheny-Kiski Valley, mid 20th century, oil on board, signed lower right. Depicting a winter scene in a field just off of Bull Creek Road in Harrison Township. Canvas is 16 x 20 inches, in a 19 x 23 inch pickled wood frame. Nesteruk trained at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles after having studied under Angelo De Vicenzo. He maintained studios in the AK Valley (just outside of Pittsburgh), New Jersey, as well as in Europe. He had won many awards, including the Leinwand Award and took first prize in the Palma Exhibition in Spain.
