Eberle, Edward (American, born 1944), Teapot Book Portfolio: 30 signed and numbered lithographs on Rives paper, 2016, each print is signed by the artist, and a unique porcelain tile and descriptive essay accompany the portfolio in a customized solander box. Prints 14.5 x 10.5 inches, each pencil signed E.E. 16 , this portfolio is #16 from the edition of 30 portfolios plus 6 not for sale sets, portfolio box 21 x 12 x 1.5 inches. Beginning in the 1990s Edward Eberle produced a series of 30 drawings, which considered the "idea" of the teapot. Teapot Book is a set of variations on a theme fusing Eberle's graphic art and ceramics through a depiction of a vessel universally recognized for its simple form and function.
