Critchlow, Eliza M. (American/Western PA/Pittsburgh, d. 2007), Furnaces, late 20th century, watercolor on paper, included in an Intergenerational Arts Festival, May 2-May 25, 1990, signed lower right, exhibition sticker verso. Sight 14 x 18.5 inches, matted and in a 21.5 x 27.5 inch wooden frame, behind glass. Critchlow earned a bachelor's degree from Carnegie Technical Institute and a master's degree in art history from the University of Pittsburgh. As a member of the USO, she toured post-World War II Europe. She was an art educator, a contributor to the Three-Rivers Art Show, and had displayed her paintings in shows and galleries throughout the area, including several solo mixed media presentations. Her works are included in many private homes and public institutions.
Condition
