Munier, Emile (French, 1840-1895), Young Woman by the Well, 1889, oil on canvas, since relined, signed and dated lower center, 40.5 x 27.25 inches (102.3 by 69 cm.), framed 47.25 x 33.75 inches (120.5 by 85.5 cm). Provenance: Gillespie Gallery, Pittsburgh, Pa.; A regional collector.
Relined; otherwise in good age appropriate condition; UV reveals inpainting along the entirity of the extreme edge plus other small spots of touching up including the center of the sky and the broom.
